More Info £5,000 Brief Descriptionbetty ford has been relisted due to an accident ,it is only damage to bonnet, a respray would sort this although would lose pinstripe,which i had considered removing as it is not to everyones taste .please check photo i have added,, is up for sale regrettably and due to unforseen circumstances,,this is a 1972 ford e200 van,it has the 5000 V8 engine with a 3 speed manual ,exhausts are straight thru cherry bombs and tail pipes out the side,the van runs good and starts no problem tho in the cold it needs a warm thru due to no choke connected ,it has a new battery and points and ht leads fitted,it could do with the distributor updating to electronic.and i did intend to buy a new carb and filter to update and for peace of mind it has a small oil leak which was there when i first bought the vehicle and has never getting any worse over the year,,the interior has been fitted out with range rover rear seat and front seats,and various storage cabinets around the sides and a sink with an electric pump for the water,also has a double bed stored away to set up when ever needed,has curtains all around plus for the front and it has interior lights fitted with 240 switch if needed to flick from battery to 240,and a double 240 socket .also an exterior electric hook up,,there is also a custom made bike rack for the rear doors which fits in seconds and a full cover for the van if you dont have a garage.the body work is excellent and is painted in the old english white,has been pinstriped on the bonnet and inside dash.has a roof rack and spare wheel,we have travelled a few times and used this as an everyday driver and tax free due to it being an historic vehicle,it gets a little hot in hot weather when parked in traffic but has never failed or broke down and has always started even in freezing temperatures it has started tho took a little to warm thru.on she has the old type power steering which works no problem makes a bit of a groan on full lock .the fuel economy is around 20mpg motorways about the same as most campers of this age.i dont think there will be any problems when you come to MOT,She is a basic vehicle none of the mod cons ,so less to go wrong and less for a MOT... betty is a real head turner and talking point,she looks great and is great fun to drive,has her moods and quirks like any old bird.i have set a reserve so please dont send silly offers.although ebay have rules ,would consider part ex no crap please,this van aint crap,with cash from your side,not mine,no straight swaps.you will fall in love with betty the minute you meet her,she would be great as a surf van or just for camping or cruising the country side,dont bid if you do not have the cash to buy,i wont tolerate tyre kicking,flounderers,numptys or shysters,serious bidders only,thank you. More Info £7,200 Brief DescriptionChevrolet C10 Pickup (Fleet Side) - 1963 Custom Cab 305ci V8 small block Coil-sprung front suspension 3 speed auto, with Genie truck shifter Fleet side chassis Genuine Chevrolet bench Seat Straight-through cherry bomb exhaust (sounds incredible!) Recently re-wired Pinstriping on the hood (removable if you wish) MOT June 2012, but I will put it through shortly and will have 12 months This is advert is for a 1963 Chevrolet C10 pickup - a real head-turner. 1963 is a sought-after year for the model as it is the first year to feature coil-sprung independent front suspension. It also has the wrap-around windscreen, which disappeared in 1964. The current owner has had the vehicle since May 2009, roughly a year after it was shipped over from a farm in Kansas. The Kansas climate has been kind to the truck, which is sporting the original paintwork. There are a few knocks here and there, but nothing you wouldn’t expect from a truck nearly 50 years old. You can see how little rust there is from the photo of the door panel. The truck was driven no more than 500 miles per year since arriving in the UK. The bench seat is from a similar vintage Chevy Suburban, and could do with refurbishing. The entire truck has been re-wired (2011) using an approved wiring loom. The starter motor was installed new in 2009, and the alternator was roughly 3yrs old when installed from a Chevy El Camino in 2009. The cab guttering has been tiger-sealed to prevent weathering of the most common area, and between October and April the truck was stored away from the elements. Other bits I have corrected are the handbrake cable, steering rods, filters at intervals, and a new battery (spare included). The truck comes with a lot of invoices/receipts for parts purchased during its life stateside. The fuel tank has been moved to the rear of the truck to allow for a larger capacity and storage area behind the seat. The boarding under the bed looks new as well. Between 2005 – 2007 the 305 V8 was installed, along with the exhaust system. Brakes (inc master cylinder), engine mounts, oil pan, weather strips, and sparks were also fitted. The shocks look fairly recent, but I couldn’t see a receipt for them. Road tax exempt. Never had a problem getting it through MOT (bar steering rods, now replaced). Tyres all good. Rover P4 100 Black 1961 All Orginal Panels Ne... More Info £9,500 Brief Description1961 ROVER P4 100 Make no mistake this is not a total restoration car, with body or chassis repairs covered up with loads of paint. This an orginal car, never been welded or had any body repairs. It has had a high quality repaint and the bright work replated about 4 years ago which has stood the test of time. I purchased this car 7 years ago from a chap in Portsmouth who had known the car for quite a few years. The chap used to make deliveries to a warehouse where the car was laid up for the previous 15 years. After admiring the car on his visits, he managed to purchase it after many attempts, as a project for his retirement. In the 3 years he owned it, he overhauled all the brakes, discs, callipers, shoes etc and did whatever it needed to get the engine running smoothly. Unfortunately due to ill health he decided to sell it and that is when I bought it. I had it transported home. Then it was in very good order but the paint was flat and flaking off in places and the chrome was dull and pitted. The car ran but would cut out after a short while; that was due to the fuel tank being rusty inside. I replaced the tank & fuel pump and the car ran fine. I then got the car to my local garage for an MOT. They rebuilt the propshaft and fitted an alternator. I used the car for the summer as it was, then decided to get it painted, so I sent all the chrome off for replating and found a good body shop to repaint it. When I got the car back home, I fitted all new seals to the doors, windows and boot and refitted the chrome. I replaced the old tripod head lamps with brand new ones so now you can see where you are going. So the car is in fantastic condition; everybody comments on the paint work, the interior is all original, the leather is in very good order and has aged very well. There are couple of cigar burns in the front seat that have been filled in but they are very minor. The carpets are again original and in very good order; they were wearing a bit thin in places and were slighty faded. I did think about new ones but did not think I would get the orginal quality so had them dyed and a local car trimmer made a nice job of sewing rubber sections in place. I have also fitted some nice red carpet over mats. The head lining and door cards are all in good order as is the wood work; the car still has that great old car smell. The wheels are fitted with good quality 195 radial tyres which drive fantastic; a lot better than the old crossplys. Also I replaced all the Rover badges on the hubcaps. Almost forgot, last year, about 200 miles ago, the gear box had a new lay shaft and bearings fitted along with a new clutch because there was a bit of a whine on the over run. Every thing on the car works including the overdrive (except the time clock) and I would not rely on the fuel gauge too much. I have replaced the sender unit and the gauge but it's still not great. I do not know what else I can tell you apart from the Rover drives very well, nice and smooth and I think you would have a long search to find another one quite like it. It is a car you could drive any where, it keeps up with modern traffic ok but it is more of "a Sunday driver" if you know what I mean. Also it still has its original number WDL 506 which has been valued at £2,400 but I think it would be better to leave it on the car. However as I am now buying a house in the USA I am having to down size my collection hence the sale. The car was superbly restored back in the 1990’s with a bare metal respray, mechanical overhaul and full re-trim at a cost of over £12,000 which was all documented. The previous owners rebuilt the vehicle, all of the components were cleaned, renewed if appropriate, and reassembled with new fasteners. I have some original documentation showing the sale of the vehicle at the military auctions and I have a cutting from the original chassis showing the chassis number.The sale includes workshop manuals, parts catalogues, and some related publications. The sale also includes some used rear bench seats which are not fitted. The vehicle is not concours but is rust free starts first time and drives like new. When i first met Matilda she was merely a Herbie project that had been left and forgotten due to the amount of work she needed at the time by her owner, once i saw her my mind was made up! Once i got her home and started stripping off the wings and out with the interior i soon noticed daylight where there shouldnt have been! She has basically been my project and love since i bought her and my daily driver( letting me down only once..). For the bills i have to hand i have so far spent £5'500 on her and thats not including the parts ive sourced over ebay. So down to business, let me give a run through of what she has to offer: I have her official birth certificate from VW, born in Belgium :/ A years MOT, she flew through this years - no advisories. A years tax, yes ok its not tax exempt but very cheap! 4 new yokohama tyres, (probably done about 200miles on them) with white wall inserts siting on stock rims with old style chrome moons Brand new rear clusters, indicators and front and back rewiring. New windscreen couple of months ago. New window rubbers all round. New window components; inner and outer window scrapers(both sides), window felt guides(bothsides), new chrome trim(both sides), new window regulator drivers side. New interior door cards finished in vinyl cream(not installed). new genuine wolfsburg winders. New wings, new doors, new front bumper. Complete respray in an original vw colour 'pearl white' Sunroof has been removed and filled in..professionally - not using fibreglass..and certainly not cheap :) New hard fuel line run from tank to the back. New empi carb, with retune Recon bottom end GOLD SEAL block with rebore. tops out at 80mph !! New bosch dizzy, bosch leads,new bosch coil, bosch plugs New rear exhaust box New heater pipes to body New fuel pump/dowel/oil seal New fanbelt changed 10th may, along with engine oil and filter change and gearbox oil service. New front beam last year with new steering damper and new shocks all round bilsteins I personally have undersealed the entire car, wings and chassis. I have had her professionally sound deadened ready for new interior. Also welding jobs have included, rear apron/inner rear wings/floorpans/heat exchangers/outer sills/under front windscreen. Theres much much more so please ask if ive missed anything out! Ok, so the bad points..and i am picky. - the boot area has been sound deadened/insulated but needs a boot liner to finish. - the passengers window keeps getting stuck in the new felt runners..but always get stuck whilst wound up! - the steering wheel has no horn :( it needs the center button. but the wheel is 40 years old so you could just buy new. - the headliner is missing, but everything is ready to have it fitted. (local quote approx £300) - the rear luggage area has no carpet. again choose an interior and the whole car is finished. - the seats are original! black basket weave vinyl, the drivers side is ripped but usable and comfy. - the gearbox mounts need replacing as it squeaks occasionally..i have the mounts and are included in this sale. - the heater tubes need connecting to the front screen..never had a problem when driving with it misting up though. - door cards need installing - fuel sender sometimes gets stuck at empty if the tank is very low(under 1/4 of a tank). Filling it up makes it work! - the milometer doesnt read! handy as insurers discount your policy if you restrict mileage..and this proves you dont drive it anywhere :) Overall she is a much loved little bug that needs a new home, buy some seat covers and a headliner and shes ready to enter into any show.Viewing is very much welcome by genuine interested bidders!
